October 30-November 3: We will be preparing for our first Socratic Seminar this week. Students will be given 2 articles and will be asked to identify their "claim" (their opinion on the topic) and provide evidence from the articles to support that claim. We will be reading the articles, taking notes, developing a claim, pulling evidence from the texts, and preparing questions in class.
